A leading Consultant Senior Physician and a veteran Cardiologist & Diabetologist from Mumbai, Dr. Nasir Yunus Fulara hails from a noble philanthrophic industrial family from Upleta in Rajkot, Gujarat.

He accomplished his major medical education from Grant Medical college, Sir JJ Group of Hospitals. His MBBS was completed in 1976 followed by MD (General Medicine) and FCPS (General Medicine) in 1981. He did MCPS from College of Physicians and Surgeon in 1977. He has taken specialty experience at Houston (USA) for Cardiology, Dusseldolf (Germany) for Diabetes and London (UK) for General Medicine.

During his academic years he was attached with JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai as House Physician (General Medicine & Diabetic Ward, and Cardiology ICCU) and Senior Registrar (Chief Residential Post- Post in General Medicine including ICCU, and Diabetic Ward). He also served as Honorary Professor of Medicine in Tibbia Medical College in Mumbai for 6 years.

Dr. Fulara is attached to some of the leading Hospitals in Mumbai. He is the Honorary Physician Cardiologist- Diabetologist in Jaslok Hospital & Medical Research Centre, since 1982. His association with Saifee Hospital and Breach Candy Hospital & Medical Research Centre started in 1981. His consultancy can be sought at Wockhardt Hospital located at Mumbai Central. He is also the Professor of Medicine- Delhi National Board at Jaslok Hospital & Medical Research Centre since 2004.

Dr. Fulara is attached to foreign consulates of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic in Mumbai. He is family physician of the Royal Families of GCC Countries.

He is often invited to share his experiences and expertise in conferences arranged at national and international levels, and annual meets of various medical associations like American Diabetic Association (ADA), European Association for Study of Diabetes (EASD), American Heart Association (AHA), European Society of Cardiologist (ESC), International Diabetic Forum (IDF) (Opinion Leader from India Region).
